... or Smoke Breaks
Midwest's Robot Integration Division has been working with a cell designed to feed Foseco's existing XP Sleeve Gluing System.
The Fanuc M710 uses an IR vision system to locate & down-stack the incoming pallets. The trays of parts then move down the Zone 2 conveyor where the Fanuc M10 loads as well as unloads the gluing system. Completed trays are repalletized by the M710 before autonomously exiting the cell.
With a decrease in reliable manpower available in today's market, robot integration is an alternative that possesses a financial benefit. Midwest Engineering aims to provide under 1 year ROI for our customers when integrating automation in a customer facility.
Robot integration enhances the efficiency of the process by minimizing error, maintaining consistency, and decreasing the amount of time it takes to complete the task. Robots don't take smoke breaks, call off, or take vacations.
